Released in 1993 in the Nintendo Power magazine and drawn by Benimaru Itoh, for many fans this is the definitive comic of the StarFox franchise. While Itoh introduced a few characters that were not in the original SNES game, he set up the basic plot for the series. With the release of StarFox64, this plot thickened, and was adapted to fit the rich new graphics of the game. For some, this is the only plot that matters, for others, Itoh's comic is practically sacred. As for me, I sleep with it under my pillow. Boy, do I get ragged on by Foxmerc for that! *sticks tongue out*
